May 2017
Sarah and I recently attended our Vaccination Course in order to be able to administer vaccines. We had a lot of fun practicing using all the equipment and pricking each other. Soon, we will sit our exams and will be able to provide vaccinations for Influenza, tetanus and shingles.
It is now a good time to think about getting your Flu Shot, if you haven’t already. You can come into contact with Influenza, anytime, anywhere. By getting the Flu Shot, you can protect yourself and lessen the chance of bringing it home to your loved ones.
The vaccine is especially important for people at risk of serious complications from the flu
- pregnant women
- people aged 65 and over
- people with ongoing medical conditions
Come and visit your trained Pharmacist at Alexander Pharmacy from mid-May. No appointment necessary.
