Can you believe that we are half way through the year already!? We celebrated a mid winter Christmas this year by going out as a team to Saffron Haveli for an Indian Feast. Many of us are foodies and we have a resident Indian cuisine expert (TJ) here so it was a real treat and we left with very happy tummies.
This month is Plastic Free July and Wellington's Sustainability Trust has been highlighting local plastic-free superheros. Alexander Pharmacy has been showcased as one of these business champs which we are chuffed with. As you may know, a couple of years ago, our staff started to really knuckle down on our carbon footprint at work. We are always trying to do better especially in an industry that is quite far from green.
Our highlight of the month was when we went sent a lovely package from Whittaker's Chocolates for our contributions to the community during the COVID lockdown. A surprise delivery of chocolate is definately the best type of delivery!
